THE END


After six months of heavy fighting and substantial losses, the rebels of the Libyan revolution reached Tripoli and succeeded in overrunning Bab al-Aziziya, the compound of embattled leader Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi. The significant advancement dealt what some consider to be a final blow to the Qaddafi regime and boosted hopes among the revolutionary movement.
